Karla started Helping Hands Home Health in 1997 with the support of her family and friends. She grew up in Pocatello Idaho, gradutating from Highland and attended IS. Karla and her husband have been married for 47 years having 5 children and 19 grandchildren. Karla enjoys many hobbies including sewing, crafting, jewlery making and rocks collecting.
Lynsey Walje, RN
Director of Nursing
Lynsey is our new Director of Nursing and we are excited to have you in this position. Lynsey graduated from Salt Lake Community College and is currently pursuing her BSN at WGU. Lynsey is a kind and caring nurse that is concerned with her patients every need. She is attentive and knowledgeable and her patients love seeing her. She loves camping, hiking, golfing, and boating with her family, Austin, husband and her two beautiful children Addisyn (6) and Jackson (3).
Beth is new to our company and we are excited to have her working with us. Beth and her husband have 4 children: Staci 15, Brody 12, Stetson 8, Terry 6. They enjoy camping, fishing, bow and rifle hunting and sitting around a fire with friends and family. She also enjoys hanging out with her kids, sewing, crafts and crocheting.
Carol Osberg, RN
Carol has worked with Helping Hands for 15 years as a RN working out in the field with patients and giving fantastic care to the clients in their homes. Recently she has also included in her work, the job of Quality Control. Carol's job is to make sure that our paperwork is in compliance with state and federal regulations. She is very talented in her crafting, gardening and quilting.
Denise is new to our company and we are excited to have her working for us. She will be working in our billing. Denise recently graduated from ISU with a Bachelor's of Health Science and is currently pursuing a Master's of Public Health. Her and her sweetheart have been married for 20 years and have 7 children, Denise's hobbies include spending time with her family, reading, crocheting, cross-stitching, sewing, and collecting Cherished Teddies figurines.
Office Assistant, Data Entry Processor
Jodee has started working in our office this past year and she has been a joy to work with. She has many hobbies and activities she enjoys to do with her husband, Tom, and their 4 daughters Lynsey, Kadee, Isabella and Sarah. Jodee enjoys drag racing, baking, singing, camping, and spending time with her family.
Kendra Meador, RN, CWOCN
Kendra completed the CWOCN course this past year and is avaliable to assist the community with her skills. CWOCN, Certified Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse was an intense program that Kendra completed through WebWoc and she did her clinical at Kaiser Permanente in Portland OR. Kendra recieved her Bachelor of Science from Boise State Universtiy. Kendra has been a nurse for 12 years and had been working with Helping Hands for 3 1/2 years
Kendra and her husband, Shawn have 2 handsome sons Peyton, 10 and Zane, 7.
Juliann Wallace, RN
Juliann attended Idaho State University and AWC. She is a very compassionate person by nature and put the needs of her patients first. She is always on the ball when it comes to her patients needs and concerns. Juliann and her husband have 2 wonderful children and she enjoys gardening, reading, and baking.
Chrissy Morrison, RN
Chrissy is a knowledgeable and caring nurse. She started working with Helping Hands this past year and lends her compassion for professional care to our team. Chrissy has been a nurse for many years and was inspired to go into nursing from her mother who is also a nurse. Chrissy and her husband have 3 beautiful children that keep her busy and are a source of great joy to her.
Kathleen Matthews, LPN
Kathleen has worked with Helping Hands for many years and is a wonderful, caring nurse. She is very knowledgeable in her care with each patient she works with. She loves to laugh and spend time with her wonderful kids and grandkids. Kathleen loves taking trips with her husband and enjoying the time with him.
Michelle Jensen, RN
Michelle is our new nurse and we are elated to have her on our team. She is gracious and always concerned for the welfare of her patients. Michelle and her husband have 9 children between them and they keep her busy. She loves to being outside, crafting, and spending time with her family.
Mick Otto, Physical Therapist
Mick has been a Physcial Therapist for 37 years. He has owned his own out patient facility for many years and enjoys his work. He has been working with Helping Hands for over 10 years and is a great assest to the patients with his years of education and training. Mick loves to take time to hunt, fish and especially golf. He attends multple events for golfing locally and regionally. Mick has 4 grandchildren that he loves to spend time doing fun activities.
Kristy Jensen, PTA, MT
Kristy attended ISU's PTA program and has been practicing for 5 years. This past year she has gone back to get her Massage Therapy Certificate at the College of Massage Therapy at Bingham. Kristy is a kind and thoughtful therapist with excellent skills for pain reduction with a holistic approach.
Kaylene is a new addition to our staff and we are excited to have her on our staff. Kaylene is a Registered Dietitian and will be assisting our patients with their diet needs whether it be through education or training to increase their healthy lifestyle choices.
